Oliver Hoffmann, who was born in 1979, has dealt with the performance and efficiency of wireless information and communication technologies from all relevant perspectives. During his studies of information technology, which he completed in 2005, he worked as a student employee for several years and gained practical experience in the telecommunication and semiconductor industries. Following completion of his studies, he worked as a scientific assistant on fundamental evaluation methods for radio systems and transmission processes as well as methods to increase the efficiency of wireless networks. Owing to his contribution to and leading position in national and international projects carried out in cooperation with numerous research partners, he gained vast experience in project work.

At the beginning of 2011 Oliver Hoffmann commenced his career in the field of intellectual property with Gesthuysen, von Rohr & Eggert and started his studies of Law for Patent Attorneys at the University of Hagen. At foundation of VON ROHR Patent Attorneys he changed employment to this partnership.

Having completed various internships at the Regional Court of Dusseldorf, the German Patent and Trademark Office as well as the Federal Patent Court, Oliver Hoffmann became a partner of VON ROHR Patent Attorneys, where he consults and represents national and international clients in all aspects of intellectual property.
