Marcus Apeltrath

Marcus Apeltrath, born 1964, has already worked in various companies in the metal-working industry during his school years before he successfully completed his studies in 1992 with a Master degree in mechanical engineering at the former University of Essen.

During his further activities in the engineering industry he worked in an executive position for an engineering company in the field of the foodstuff industry specializing among other in the engineering of special purpose machines and the conveying technology for piece goods and bulk material. In particular, the responsibilities of his worldwide activities were the planning, technical management and commissioning of the manufactured plants. In the further course, he extended his competences as a technical director coordinating the supply management for plant manufacturers. In this context, his specific fields of his activities were the technology of lightweight conveyor belts and handling devices as well as the construction of special purpose machines for the foodstuff industry and the fabrication of special products, prototypes and pilot production plants for the implementation of pre-serial productions.

In 2013, Marcus Apeltrath started his professional activity in the field of intellectual property as a patent engineer and patent researcher in the patent law firm of VON ROHR Patent Attorneys.
