Dr. Alexander Freiherr von Foullon

In the course of his studies of chemistry at the University of Cologne, Alexander von Foullon, who was born in 1975, focused on the investigation of new organoelement and organometallic compounds and analyzed the structures of chemical compounds. After receiving his Master's degree, he continued his research in the position of a scientific assistant in the field of inorganic molecular chemistry. In the year 2008 he was awarded his Ph.D. in Natural Sciences for his doctoral thesis on fluorinated organoelement compounds.

Following his doctoral thesis, Alexander von Foullon commenced his career in the field of intellectual property: while working at the Gesthuysen, von Rohr & Eggert firm, he studied Law for Patent Attorneys at the University of Hagen.

Having completed various internships at the Regional Court of Dusseldorf, the German Patent and Trademark Office as well as the Federal Patent Court, Alexander von Foullon became a partner of the firm of VON ROHR Patent Attorneys, where he consults and represents national and international clients in all aspects of intellectual property.
